Hi. Can you provide a few more details?
How long have you been married and trying to conceive? If it's been more than a year, you should get investigated.
Delay by only 2 days shouldn't be a cause of concern if the total cycle length doesn't exceed 35 days ( Cycle length- 1st day of last menses to 1st day of next menses)
Can you quantify amount of bleeding like number of pads used each day, how much of the pad is soaked before each change (1/3rd, 1/2, 2/3rd, completely, only spotting etc)
Are you aware of your fertile period?
Have you or your husband been suffering from any infection,
Any foul smelling white discharge, or itching near genitals?
Next Steps
let me suggest some tests, in case duration cohabitation with husband has been more than a year.
1) serum
TSH ( done in morning, empty stomach)
2) serum
prolactin
3) ultrasonography of the pelvis on day 2 of menses , also mentioning the Antral follicle count.
4) husband's semen analysis.
Health Tips
Know your fertile period by maintaining a clear calendar of your menses. (More info available online). A more accurate method is by using urinary
LH kits/ ovulation kits available at the pharmacist.
Hope that helps :-)
