Not able to sleep properly and eat

My Mother is not able to sleep properly. Sometimes she sleeps but says that she it not geeting felling of good sleep. She always feels hungry even after eating. This is being repeated yearly once and continues for 3 to 4 months and then stops. Please help her in this regard.

If this is cyclic and happening every year, this needs detailed evaluation.. whether there are symptoms other than sleep and appetite disturbance, etc. You can consult a  Psychiatrist for the same.
