Not able to do pull ups and chin ups

2023-06-09 14:35:37
Hi, Last week I trained by biceps after a period of 4-5 months and lifted same weights I used to lift earlier. Further I did 3 sets of 8-10 chinups.  But after the workout my arm's got swollen and it took nearly 4-5 days for recovery. After that I again started weightlifting for other body parts but when the turn came for biceps, I was not able to lift the weights at all and even with every light weights it was taking a lot of efforts. Further, I was not able to even a single chin up. Then, I tried  to do pull up and was not able to do that as well, earlier I could do 3 sets of 5-6 pull ups easily. What is happening?. Are the muscles still recovering or I have torn by bicep muscle? I don't feel any pain as such in the bicep area.

Your problem might be due to muscle injury.  You have to give rest. You should consult a physiotherapist in person for complete assessment and treatment.
