Hi , My blood reports show Normocytic normochromic RBCs . What does this mean ? Can you please explain regarding the causes and impacts ?

Normocytic means normal sized red blood cells and normochromic means normal red colour of the red blood cells. Essentially, its normal RBC. However, it doesn't rule out any disease. If you have any symptoms like fatigue, tiredness, pale complexion, shortness of breath, etc., consultation is required.

  1.   Normocytic and normochromic RBC , per se , means Normal Red Blood Cells . 2. If other parameters of the blood report are normal , you are normal. Otherwise not.
