Normal Plastic ball directly hit on eye.

Today evening my brother was playing cricket on floor and the plastic ball directly hit on his left eye from the batsman side while he was doing bowling.. Just after the incident he washed his whole face with cold water and now currently he has covered his left eye with ice cloth... No problem in vision... Little swelling in face also.. please se the attached photos... Little pain too.. Please tell me what do next.. any eye drop or medicine... Eye is fully red.. please respond.. I am too worried... Thank you doctor

Good morning! Though there is no vision problem it is advisable to have a in person consultation as injury with a ball can cause damage to any of the seven rings of the eye. Therefore IN PERSON consultation is a must.

He need a consultation and eye examination properly with ophthalmologist. Sometime, these blunt trauma/injury can cause internal inflammation/swelling a thorough examination will help him
