Normal Brain Development hypothyroidism

Dear All, My wife is 18 weeks pregnant and she's having hypothyroidism and consuming 200mcg thyronorm. This is her first pregnancy. Currently her TSH is 2.8, T4=12.4 However, her TSH was elevated during 12 & 13th week, value were 17.5 and 12 respectively. Her routine NT scan and Dual marker, both came Normal. Question : Do we need to go for any advance tests like NIPT or Amniocentesis to determine whether baby is having normal brain development and has no mental issues. FYI : My nephew is having autism.

I don't think NIPT or amniocentesis can diagnose an abnormality of the foetus which is due to hypothyroidism of the mother. It will not come in the category of genetic abnormality. Autism too can't be picked up by NIPT.
