Dear Doctor My son is 7.8 yrs. He has fever from last 4 days. We consulted doctor he said viral fever since no symptoms related to dry cough, headache. When we check using 3 to 4 Thermometer it varies between 98.6-99.6f. Doctor pls suggest 1)since the fever is now  more than 4 days now. 2) secondly he body is continuously hot but the temperature is between 98.6-99.6. 3) He is active as per daily activities. Why the head especially to hot.

First, its not fever... Usually fever is if temp is more than 100F....then give paracetamol... Nothing to do...

give plenty of liquid orally.... give iron supplement

Just give paracetamol if its above 99.5 F... consult your doctor if any other symptoms are there. If child is active and taking food properly nothing to worry...
