Hello Dr's my wife is pregnant LMP 20 April We went for first screening USG on 12 june.on USG the repory says foetal growth not coinciding will LMP dates also cardiac activity not seen I am attaching the report my wife had two scans on followup of 14 days My gynae adviced to repeat the scan after 10 days if there is cardiac activity then we will continue or else she has to terminate the pregnancy. Kindly tell is there any chance??or it is nrmal My wife is absolutely fine with no cramps or spotting

Your LMP is 20 April. By dates your pregnancy should be 8 weeks. Your first scan is dated 29 May. Your second scan is dated 16 June (even though you have edited your report in such a manner that even the date has been removed). You were pregnant on 29 May. Under the circumstances it is unlikely that the heart action will be seen after a few days. However you can get a final diagnosis by beta HCG level.

U need to repeat ultrasound after a week At 6 weeks a fetal pole is seen as mentioned So the ultrasound looks normal as of now Cardiac activity appears after 7 weeks So if in the next scan if heart beat is seen It's a normal pregnancy

As there is  growth of pregnancy  from previous  to present  scan,you can wait for a week  and  do  another  scan to check. Sometimes  delayed  egg development  may cause a disparity of dates and pregnancy  age.
