No bleeding aftr taking methergine
I had a medical abortion at 6 weeks few weeks ago. After few days when bleeding stopped, i still had pain and usg showed blood clots as "retained products of conception". The dctr gave me methergine twice a day for 3 days with azithromycin. Till now after taking it for 2 days the cramps increased even after taking pain killers and haven't passed any blood. How will the blood clots go if won't be bleeding?
When will the bleeding start?
If it was Only blood clot then it should go on its own.. if some retained tissue then if it doesn't pass after methergin course u cn try misoprostol..
if still persistent you ll hv to get it done surgically by suction and evacuation
