My 14 days old child sleeps for a little while and wakes up , does take brest milk and while feeding does not cry and falls asleep in the lap but as soon as is put under the blanket wakes just after 4 or 5 minutes and starts crying .  He has been repeating the same from yesterday. First lvly congratulations for being a new mother, a particularly challenging time. Believe me when I say that within few weeks you will recognise which cry is for what. Coming things first- 1) crying is a late sign of hunger. Make sure the breast feeding is effective with good latch and position for you and baby ( if in doubt seek help from your local lactation consultant). Drink plenty of fluids yourself ( your urine should be clear and not concentrated). If in doubt about your milk, check with hand expression of milk. 2) well fed baby will be satisfied after feed, you may see milk around mount. 3) make sure you BiliApp baby well after feed to avoid trapped wind/ colic. 4) if all that is ok and baby still cries- make sure nappy if not dirty/wet. 5) make sure room is not too cold/ hot. Ideal temp of room is 26-28C. If too warm, take off one layer.
Next Steps
See above. If still concerns persists, a visit to your friendly Pediatrician for reassurance will go a long way
Health Tips
Demand breast feed. Burp after every feed Maintain stable room temperature. If uncontrolled crying with colic ( trapped wind symptoms)- try abdominal clockwise massage, cyclical leg movement to release stress, you could try medication on discussion with your Peditrician

It is likely that your baby is not getting adequate tummy full of feed and is sleeping prematurely.
Next Steps
your should try and talk to your baby when he is feeding to keep him awake and alert. let the baby complete his feed and when his tummy is full he will be able to sleep peacefully

Babies do cry for burps . Make sure you burp them properly before putting them down after every feed
