Newborn cries
My baby is 14 days old and from past 1 week baby is crying almost for 3 hours every day mostly at night sometimes in day time also. We gave the colic medicine for 4 days, but still baby cries. Being the first time mother it is very difficult to understand baby. Due to this Covid situation not able to go to hospital also. Please suggest is this normal?
Hi, its quite common during newborn period..most if time baby cries for feeding, if baby sleep after giving feed then no worries...sometimes inadequate breast milk or improper latching also make baby to vry fir feed....

check baby weight if weight is gained then no worries...first 3 months usually baby stay awake in night..

I understand your woes. In most cases this might be taken normal but there are a fee pointers that you need to be aware of. The nature of the cry is important and you will have to share the amount and the number of feeds taken by the child at night. Please refrain from using Colic medications.
