New Blade cut - Tetanus shot required ?

2021-11-08 11:29:54
I cut my finger while handling a new razor blade. No rust or soil on blade. Wound bled but is now healed. I also applied dettol to it. Should I take tetanus injection immediately or can I take it later on also. ( Not taken injection in last 5 years ).

Since the blade was new with no rust or soil on it so it is safe.u need not to worry abt it.just apply some antibacterial ointment to let it heal faster Now since you hav not taken inj TT in last 5 years so u need a booster.you can tk it now or within a few days as per ur convinence. Nothing to worry about
