To treat ur mother properly u have to talk to ur mother.Release of her inner emotions which are giving her pain.Release of that stress help her to get a free life.Family help is very much needed. All family members must talk to her with positiveness, good talks, about old good memories, about childhood.U may go to a place where she used to go in old days. After she is release those innermost emotions then she may agreed to talk to a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Best wishes.. Feel free to consult...

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your mother. When a person is in a negative state of mind, your best option is stay besides them and talk to them. If she is willing to talk about what is making her feel this way, lend her your ear. Ask her to write her thoughts in a diary. If she is not talking, you talk to her about her life. Try to keep her engaged even though she might not say anything. Talk about  happy childhood memories. Talk about times when you both dealt with negative situations in your life. Once she gets out of this phase, take her to a psychologist for a proper assessment if still required. Good luck and I hope your mother feels better soon!
