Negative hcg test but no periods

Hi, I am 32 years old. I have taken my hcg test 5 days back, which was negative. But I haven't got my periods yet, although the cramps are there. I have started taking meparate now. Can I take another hcg test, while on meparate. Plz suggest, as I don't want the pregnancy at any cost, cz my son is very young.

If hcg is negative,it means you are not pregnant.after u stop meprate ,wait atleast for 10days..
