Firstly temperature range depends if it was taken through mouth or armpit. Secondly your temperature looks in the normal range. It could be due to ovulation (middle time of the cycle, after about 14days of last menstrual period). If you have discharge from vagina it could be Infection.

A temperature of 98.3–98.7°F is NORMAL and not fever. Fever is defined as ≥100.4°F (38°C). Heat sensation can occur due to hormonal changes, anxiety, local irritation, or dehydration. Stay well hydrated Wear loose cotton clothing Avoid excessive self-checking of temperature Consult a gynaecologist if you develop burning urination, discharge, itching, or documented fever.

Fever is basically a temperature more than 98F in the morning and a temoerature more than 99.9F in the evening As the day goes on the body naturally increases the temperature , so a fluctuation of around 1F between morning and evening temperature is quite normal. Secondly in females in the pre ovulation period the body also produces a lot of progesterone which also increases the basal body temperature , this can also be misinterpreted as a fever
