It is important to understand your smoking addiction in a comprehensive way. Every individual with addicted habits are different. So many factors play a role. Need to ascertain the severity, frequency of use, the impact on your life, any relapse indicators, your insight, level of motivation to quit, support network in the context of your personality, your psychosocial situation, physical health condition and any mental health issues like depression. Treatment would include addressing any underlying issues, motivational enhancement counselling, behavioral techniques helping you to form strategies to deal with usual factors triggering relapses, medication if necessary etc. I know it all sounds complex. But it's actually not. With proper counselling you will start seeing the importance of all these approaches and the effectiveness. Unless we establish the holistic view and plan treatment accordingly, it is likely to fail or ending up with relapses. Instead of randomly trying some medicine, I suggest you seek professional help for a systematic approach to ensure success. Best wishes
