Hi, I have a neck stiffness issue which is caused by a hard lump on the right side,back of my neck. This also causes stiffness in shoulders. And I have this for almost a year. The pain sometimes is unbearable and sometimes I don't even feel that there is a problem. Lately it has again started making it difficult for me to keep my head up for even 5 mins.. I had a consultation with a physiotherapist who gave me cold pack and some UV treatment which was just temporary relief. I keep STRETCHING my neck and also exercising the neck. I want to find a permanent solution to this. Please advise what this could be and next steps. Also, Should I consult an orthopedic or a neurologist?
