Hello...... Neck pain could be due to paraspinal muscle spasm or irritation of nerve with the compression of overlying structure... You get an MRI of spine at neck region. MRI gives better idea on the cause.. If neck pain is mild doctor may suggest you neck collar. Consult orthopedic doctor with MRI....
