Hi Doc Recently 1 month back I had c-section. Elders poured lot of weired advices to me . Could you please help me to decide whether I need to follow these or not 1. Dont eat any fruit. it will cause cold to baby 2. Dont eat spicy.. baby will also get gas problem 3. Dont take bath, baby can catch cold 4. Eat less oil . eat bland food 5.Take warm water otherwise belly will never go inside. It will become hard as stone. 6. Dont to household work till 6 month. Otherwise lifetime pain you will get much

Need to have fruits daily, should take bath daily .body hygiene is very important for baby health as well as for proper suture healing, there is no specific restriction to spicy foods or oily foods … you can have them if you are comfortable with no acidity or bowel discomfort. you can start doing your routine household work after 6 weeks once you start feeling comfortable

You should  eat a good amount of fruits Avoid spicy food because you can endup  with acidity you should definitely take a bath avoid exccess intake of oil irrespective of whether you take a bath with cold or warm water the belly fat needs exercise to go  you need to start working out after 45 days if you want to go back to pre pregnancy weight

These are Myths , only thing is don’t eat very spicy things Might give u acidity
