Afp level showing 60570 ng/ml Cea level 39 Ca 19 9 level 1721 How come afp level 60570 . Normal level it's upto only 9 He had cet scan doctor said liver damage and metasis. Please let me know what stage it is.

Primary tumor likely to be arising from hepatobiliary system i.e. liver or biliary tract. I suggest to undergo whole body PET CT scan to see whether it is limited to liver or is spread beyond. Then only the stage can be ascertained.Need to see the patient and  images of both ct scan and pet CT scan to plan further management . Thank you
