My dad Habituated to drinking

Normally, my dad won't drink but once if he start drinking and he won't leave for the longer time. Recently (nearly 2 months) he started to drink and he is not leaving it. I want to cut down his alcohol addiction with out knowing him. So, please suggest me how to reduce his addiction. More over he is a heart patient. I am very much thankful if you would help me. Thank you
