My cousin has collar bone fracture

Doctor has suggested 2 different options - one plate fixture and other wire one Not sure of pros and cons and which one to go for Can someone help in this regards

Latest recommendation for collar bone fracture is surgery if there is significant displacement, or associated skin problem, or problem to nerves and blood vessels arising due to fracture fragments. If the fracture falls in the above mentioned categories, then surgery is preferable. For a minimally displaced fracture, surgery is not needed
