At this age, jaundice is usually due to viral hepatitis. He needs further tests to find cause. Does he have fever or vomiting? Admission is needed only if he is very weak or dehydrated. Please meet a child specialist ( MD pediatrics) for check up and treatment

If the child is feeding well and now showing any bleeding, excessive sleeping, irrelevant talking, or seizures or any other danger signs. You can wait and get symptomatic treatment at home, if any of these symptoms appears better to admit. Keep following up.
