Hello
This is common and usually temporary. Appetite dips are normal at this age due to growth pattern changes or minor illnesses.
Teething may cause irritability or decreased feeding-Look for swollen gums or excessive drooling.
Avoid force-feeding: Forcing can worsen feeding aversion. Offer food patiently, in small portions.
Encourage solids and family foods: Limit milk intake to around 400–500 ml/day to improve appetite for solids. Offer soft, mashed home foods 4–5 times daily.
Appetite stimulants not routinely needed: No appetite syrup is recommended routinely at this age unless there’s underlying illness. However, in select cases, Cyproheptadine syrup may be prescribed briefly under doctor supervision. Do not self-medicate. These syrups should be used only if weight gain is poor or feeding issues are persistent.
Next Steps

Teething pain
Mild viral illness
Bloating or constipation
