Hi, I started taking 15mg prednisolone for my asthma about 6 months ago. 4 months into my medication, I noticed that my muscle were spasming and twitching. Eventually the spasms formed these sort of knots in my muscles which my gp described as trigger points. These spasms and twitches started after taking the medication. If for example i contract my muscle, it stays in a contractd state for a bit until it relaxes. I just started taking calcium and vitamin d supplements cause I didnot takethem
