My mom has been undergo a transvaginal ultrasound and she has an impression of multiple myoma uteri (intramural, intramural with subserosal component, intramural with submucosal component) endometrium suggestive of secretory phase normal ovaries. What does that mean? Does she need an urgent operation on her ovary? Is that dangerous? Thanks!

If your mother is not having any problem in periods like excessive bleeding or pain ,heaviness etc then no need of surgery. Surgery is also indicates if fibroid is large
Health Tips
follow up with ultrasound every 6months for fibroid growth
