Report details of MRI Impression- Lumbar Spondylysis Diffuse disc bulge with annular tear at L3_4 level causing narrowing of spinal canal and bilateral lateral recess with compression over the traversing and bilateral exiting nerve roots. Diffuse disc bulge with annular tear L4-5 level causing thecal sac indentation and narrowing over bilateral lateral recess with compression over the bilateral exiting nerve roots. THIS IS THE REPORT DONE BY DR.SHIVENDRA CHAUDHARY MBBS,MD,RADIO DIAGNOSIS. Note:- I actually want to understand the MRI report. I am feeling pain regularly in my back in my legs also in thigh joint. What should i do? Mild cervical osteophytes are noted. What are the harmful effects of pain? Plz,help me out.

Pain is due to nerve getting compressed by slip disc. Avoid bending, straining, lifting weights. Maintain proper position while working. Take plenty of fluids. Ca and vit d supplements if deficiency. Stay positive, Relaxation exercises.
