I am having problem in my left knee having knee pain and prob while folding my left knee. mri impression resulted as
-Mucoid or myxoid degeneration of ACL with cellary stalk appearance with possible ACL ganglion.
-PARTIAL thickness tear in the body, posterior horn and root of medial meniscus involving it's inferior surface.
-Red marrow reconversion of the bones of knee.
I am very much in tension. I can't understand what this impression means.Is it something very serious like tumor or cancer. Pls help me.wht are the possible treatment to cure this apart from any surgical measure.

Hi. In Mucoid degeneration with ganglion cyst try with medicines and physiotherapy for couple of months if pain is too severe and you have lost your movements then you can consider arthroscopy surgery where we reduce the bulk of the acl and drastically the pain will come down next day after surgery. Hi..Don't worry much..its not as severe as cancer or tumor but since your young don't neglect and can aim for maximal recovery..you can go for physiotherapy..and surgical interventions are of curse there if nothing works. Thank you.
