From last 3 months I have a mucocele /ranula under my tongue. It doesn't hurt or bother me at all,it's round in size and it often burst and release transparent liquid and then again form. Will this go away of its own? Is it a problem to have it there? Is the treatment really necessary If yes,what's the best way to get over it.

For ranula best treatment is surgical removal of the cyst..as it is benign type of mucous retention cyst.. visit an ENT specialist for proper assessment and treatment..
