Movement of jaw during braces

2019-10-22 11:30:19
I think my lower jaw is moving backward during braces phase and increasing my deep overbite...but my orthodontist told me that it can't move backward with respect to it's natural position because of its anatomy? Please clear my confusion regarding this... Please help.

Hello sir... Jaws cant move backwards during braces treatment...The deep overbite is because you are under the treatment process...it will get corrected at the end of the treatment...No need to worry

During Braces treatment, it is not possible to move the lower jaw back. we can bring it forward. but backwarf movement can not happen at your age. If you are worried about increesing deepbite, i will suggest you to talk to your Orthodontist and clear out the doubt.
