My relative had undergone 30 cycles of radiotherapy post chemo and operation. Its been 3 months since radiotherapy but still sores are there and intense pain is there. He is taking 3-4 painkillers.. Is it that cancer is back?

What is the site of radiation.. Usually radiation mucositis heals by 2 months.. Could be due to nutritional deficiency or coexistent infection.. Meet treating doc in person and attach treatment details for opinion
