Am giving mother feed for my baby for 2 years..it's difficult to stop feed.how to stop mother feed and start complimentary feeds for my son

There is no slow transition here. It has to be a sudden and complete stop. The child may be difficult to handle and very irritable for a couple of days,  but almost always comes around. It is like the mother bird pushing it's little one out of the nest to enable it to start flying....
