It is likely that you have vertigo for which you will require medications such as beta histine, it occurs due to imbalance of the fluid in your ear. Avoid sudden motions such as getting up fast and turning to the sides, It is of utmost importance to not drive during this time. This exercise would be of help to you(Brandt-Daroff exercise):
- Start in an upright, seated position.
- Move into the lying position on one side with your nose pointed up at about a 45-degree angle.
- Remain in this position for about 30 seconds (or until the vertigo subsides, whichever is longer). Then move back to the seated position.
- Repeat on the other side.
Do this exercise 5 times each twice a day.
If the problem is persistent or worsens visit the ER.
