I will share how me as well as my friends dealt with our broken hearts :
Start taking care of yourself. Go out to the nearest restaurant and treat yourself. Eat lots and lots of icecreams/chocolates of your choice and pani puris too ( my mouth literally watered when I typed pani puri). Think Food=Bae.Bae=Food. Forver and always.
Now That we have consumed so many calories, it's time to hit the gym. Play hard, Run fast.Drain out all your negative energy on the Physical activities. This will not only tire your body but also your mind and won't let any hurtful thoughts resonate your mind.
Shop a lot. Oh shopping is so satisfying. Buy yourself a good pair of jeans, shirt, googles, shoes, belt, purses , antique items etc. Devote all your energy to Groom yourself.
Listen to music that is soothing to the ears. I personally love Bryan Adams,James Blunt, Train etc, my favorite being Travie McCoy's Billionaire. In hindi, I love Lucky Ali songs, Euphoria, Bombay Vikings. Evergreen they are!
Read a lot. Gain knowledge and try to learn about a new topic every day. Read good books, avoid love stories for some time, instead go for thrillers,Fiction, science, history. I really loved R. L Stine Fear Street series. Quite interesting and engaging as well.
Cry yourself out. Let those tears wet your pillow at night. Yes! you read it correct! If anytime you feel Low, share /show your emotions ,never keep them Inside you or else it will eat you up. Always share what you are feeling to your closest friend/family member etc. Keeping yourself company will help you a lot.
Meditate. Meditation will not only help you focus on good things around you, it will calm your mind as well as keep your body healthy too. Peace in, peace out.
Spend time with your parents, your siblings ,friends and all those who love you and embrace their love :)
Life's too short to just deal with our broken hearts. Always remember, it's not the end of the world. There's so much to see and learn out there. So always focus on good things.
Live it, Laugh it out and travel as much as Possible!
