I have Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic attacks and Health Anxiety disorder since last 12 years. I have consulted different psychitarists in past and I was put on Escitaloporam 10 for 8 years and Vilazodone 40 for 3 years. I was also prescribed Desvenlafaxine, Bupropion, Sertraline, Paroxetene, Vortioxetine, Qutipin and Olanzapine for 1 months each but it all gave me really bad constipation. Really bad constipation resulted in discontinuation of medicines of the above medicines. Now my psychiatrist has prescribed Fluoxetine 20 and Mirrazapine 30 and Etifoxine twice a day. I am confused which Antidepressant to take. As I have constipation issue with this medicines. Any suggestion, which Antidepressant I should opt for Fluoxetine 20 or Mirtazapine 30 as mirtazapine is making me sleepy and groggy the whole day after taking 15 mg at night. And Which one should I continue in augmentation with Etifoxine, Mirtazapine 30 or Fluoxetine which doesnt give me bad constipation and groggyness.

For your symptoms of anxiety and mood, main medications are antidepressants that you have mentioned Etifoxine is augmenting agent, may be further gradually tapered and stopped For constipation, more details will be needed to assess as your working pattern, diet, personal habit, sleep hours Some lifestyle modifications as sleep hygiene plus medications dose need to be optimised for your concern
