I have bowel loop showing edematous wall. What does that mean?? What are bowel loops??is it simply small intestine?

On which investigation it is showing.? It can be any part of intestine. It can be simple self limiting infection to serious  matter Needs correlation with your  complaints ,investigations and further work up

This finding is seen in enteritis. It usually comes down by itself.

In abdominal tuberculosis all intestines oedematous and swollen. This will settle down months after infection is finished.
