Mild swelling under armpit
Hello dr
I m 37 years old female...i have some mild swelling under left armpit...i have done breast ultrasound..report is normal...my dr said this is only fat..i have done 2 times ultrasound but report is normal...but i m worried..is ultrasound can detect any lump or should i go for mammography

Ultrasound has detected fat in the bulge of the armpit …
Get a mammography done to come to a conclusion
And if the findings are same and it’s bothering you while wearing cloths .
You can consult a plastic surgeon to get it removed either by liposuction or a surgical intervention by giving very small incisions hidden under the armpit

no need to worry until the size of the swelling is not getting increased get follow-up ultrasound for every three months
If you're asymptomatic like no pain no nipple discharge no discomfort no need to worry till then
