I am taking tryptomer 1o mg for my mild depression is want to stop it suddenly stop will lead to withdrawal symptoms Plz advice

Hi. This is Dr Kishore. Tryptomer usually doesnot have any withdrawal symptoms, but stopping it abruptly can cause rebound depression. These changes are different for different individuals. No one can advice on stopping a medicine without clinically evaluation. As for withdrawal symptoms, none have been reported so far as it is not an addictive substance. Pl. consult the treating psychiatrist for stopping it.
