Hello Doctor, A month earlier, i was diagnosed with anal fistula and undergone surgery for that and following to the surgery, i took antibiotics (linezolid). Since, last 2 weeks i have been experiencing lots of hairfall and thinning of hair. I decided to undergo thyroid profile test in early morning empty stomach and results came as such t3 and t4 levels are in normal range and tsh level is mild elevated i.e. 5.67 ( range 0.35-5.60). Should i undergo any further test for better evaluation ? I had also around same value 5.7 before 2 months post covid. Please advice me. Thank you.

You have sub clinical hypothyroid, Now you can start on Thyronorm:12.5 mcg daily one on empty stomach. Start on Calcium and vitD. Repeat Thyroid profile after 3 months.
