For migraine there are 2 modes of management.
1. Prevention.
some medicines are prescribed to reduce frequency of migraines or severe attacks.these can be prescribed after consultation. you can chat for details.
some foods and migraine triggers are to be avoided and they help in reducing the frequency of headaches.
2. Treatment for acute attacks.
some meds are used to treat acute attacks, like one dr has written about sumatriptan.
various forms of Triptans are used to give relief from attacks.
you can also use Tab Keterol 10 mg dispersible tabs, not more than 20 mg a day, if sumatriptan gives you severe side effect.
