If microtia surgery done is there any complications post surgery.Is any other parts get affected.whats the best solution to get rid of this problem.

Yes Sir, in any surgery there are some pros & cons. As in pinna reconstruction, there are chances of bleeding, post of infection,may need revision surgery or in some cases facial asymmetry & decreased hearing as well.

There might be disfigurement of pinna again ( recurrence) and since cartilage is used for reconstruction there can be cartilage infection or pneumothorax theoretically…
