I recently visited a gynaecologist to prescribe periods postpone medicine. The doctor has prescribed me meprate 10 mg. If I start having it for 12 days, will there be any problem? Doctor did not said any timeline. And how long will it take to get my periods.

You will get periods within 7 - 10 days of stopping this pill or earlier.. please avoid such pills to avoid ectopic pregnancy

To postpone your periods you hv to take it but ideally not recommended to delay it too much . Once you stop the medicine you will get a withdrawal bleeding

Medicine can be used to delay period upto 14 days. You will get period after few days of stopping medicine.
