Hello dr. I get menstrual migraines before periods behind my ears mostly on one side and if I'm stressed out I get migraines or headaches too. Paracetamol doesn't work. I will be trying to conceive soon. Is there any medicine for menstrual migraines? Shall I consult a gynaecologist too? Can hormonal imbalance be cause of menstrual migraines? Please advice

Hormonal imbalances are common especially during reproductive life and reason for changes in body. Migraine per see is part of a larger problem and for that you need to do certain changes in your routines. Start with regular exercises and walk in morning. Meditation on regular basis. Avoid stress and do relaxation therapy. Avoid electronic devices and mobile especially at night before bedtime. Sos painkillers.
Next Steps
If issue persists then medication might be required for sometime.
