Melasma/Black patches on cheeks & nose
Greetings,
My mother is having black patches on both the side of cheeks & nose since 8 to 9 years. She is 49 years old now.We have consulted doctor 2-3 years and he had suggested some ointment but it did not work, not even 1%.
I would request you to suggest some ointment or soap to get rid of this patches.

There are many reasons why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause.
