Medicine to take in asthma

I have severe asthma from the last seven years and I have persistent shortness of breath and cough with sputum .I am taking my medicine regularly but none of the medicine help me to reduce shortness of breath.please provide some effective medications so that it can provide some relief from my symptoms.

Hi I understand your concern s. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started.
