Can medication met xl 25mg be replaced by prolomet xl 25mg and tablet telma 40mg be replaced by stamlo d. Previously, my father used to take prolomet and stamlo d but one during lockdown in August my father was not feeling well so he was admitted in Railway hospital and Dr. Changed his medication to metxl 25mg once in a day and Telma 40mg twice a day. Nowadays, he Is feeling lots of weakness and he was telling that while taking prolomet xl 25mg and stamlo D he used to feel much better... plz suggest can v start taking previous medication or my dad should continue with metxl 25mg and Telma 40mg.

Met XL and prolomet XL are same drugs , but stamlo and telmisartan are two different drugs used for controlling blood pressure , you should check with your cardiologist
