Mediastinal lymph node
Doctor still my mild cough persists even after completing 5 months Att treatment,no fever, gained 7kg, have general well being but my question is if my mediastinal lymph node remain some how enlarged and cough persists can I be given corticosteroid after the end of his treatment as it helped me previously before tb diagnosis when i first started coughing.
Lymph nodes may not regress completely. If you are feeling better, size of nodes have reduced, you need to complete the course first and if your pulmonologist feels, course may be extended.
