Mebeverine before or after food
Most Respected gastroenterologists here,
Last year i was prescribed rifagut 550, providac capsule and meva c capsule for IBS related abdominal cramps. Meva c was to be taken twice and 20 minutes before food.
However another gastroenterologist has now prescribed me Rifagut 550, econorm 250 capsule and colospa retard (mebeverine 200 mg) . Colospa retard is once daily after breakfast.
Am confused if colospa retard (mebeverine 200) is also better off taking before food?
Do they work differently if taken before or after food? Does their potency dictates timing of taking?
