I live in USA and as part of immigration process they asked me to do a TB test which came positive , they they asked to do chest X ray which showed a calcified nodule which can be due to a prior infection of TB , but my doctor asked me to a do CT scan and is scan following was diagnosed SUSPECT AREAS OF INTERSTITIAL SCAR/FIBROSIS BILATERALLY. I dont have any symptoms and I am healthy , this was an incidental finding, should I worry about it ?

If mantoux is > 15mm and CT scan is suggestive of active infection, you need TB treatment after evaluation If mantoux > 15mm and CT scan is not suggestive of active infection, then only TB prophylaxis. In other case no treatment
