Lump in armpit

I have a lump in my right armpit and it is painful at times when I strech my arms up excessively. It has been there from a month. The lump reduced in size and generally it is not painful. But only when I press it too much or stretch my arm too much it hurts.

It may be a soft tissue lipoma or a benign swelling. If the swelling is painful then it can be infected or is becoming painful due to repetitive stimulation by stretching of the limbs
Next Steps
consult a plastic surgeon and does the removal of the soft tissue swelling if required.

Just consult a surgeon to move further.  If you fever along with this might be a lymph node enlargement or if not might be a normal cystic swelling. Nothing to worry about. Clinical examinations and Ultrasound scans can help you with better understanding.
